So, after 3 years of not uploading anything, I've spammed by watchers with 15 new paintings

Because of everything going on right now, I've been home from university (we've switched to online classes for now so I still have to attend lessons) so I've had some free time to scan my work

A lot of this is work from like October, November and then some more recent things as well

I've really gotten into gouache these days. I just love how it can be like watercolours and oils depending on how you use it (two mediums I love but ) So it's become my main medium these days 

Anyhow, after TROS came out, I watched The Clone Wars, Rebels and Resistence and I am HUGE fan of all three shows  

So expect a few more star wars related pieces coming up at some point

I'm still here!

So ... I was a bit optimistic in my last journal (many many months ago. I hopeful I was!)

University has been pretty demanding and my timings weren't the best so DA was ignored almost completely. 

However a new term is starting soon and my timings are (I hope) better and MIGHT leave me a few minutes to do something on DA.

I still have a ton of photos to go through. I've also started brush lettering and calligraphy these past few months.

With how much time spent in front of a computer, just staring at lines of code, I definitely needed an easy to do arty hobby. So a bit of research I got a pack of brush markers and off I went!

I have loads of practice pieces to share (whether you want to see them or not!)

Anyone who favourited a piece, commented or watched me - I'm very sorry for not thanking you!

Since I don't have enough time (and since DA will think I'm a spambot) instead of commenting thanks I'll just be sending a llama your way

Sorry - not meant to be clickbait-y title at all!  

But i felt like i needed to explain my long silence: first and foremost I'M STILL HERE! I check in every day for a few minutes, just a cursory glance at everything and i know i have a lot messages, comments, faves, etc dating back to about feb-march that i need to sort through  

I'm really sorry!! This entire year has been one of intensive studying and finally it's all paid off! Most of my day would be spent studying leaving me sometimes no time at all to relax (there have been days when i'd be up until 1am trying to finish my work). It was all independent studying so it made things a little tougher for me. I had to do a lot of research and filter through any and all information trying to find what i needed. It was mentally exhausting and at times i wondered what the point was.

But now the light at the end of a long tunnel!    

      I have been accepted into university! I hope to study computer science _{(math is another passion of mine along with art and photography - i'm a strange person!)}      

i'm hoping once i get into a regular schedule at uni, i'll be able to be a bit more active on DA. Probably once a week or once a fortnight, i'll try to upload something, answer messages, do a feature, something!   

I have a lot of backlogged photos to sort through and i think i have some awesome things to share. I also have a bunch of maps and sketches realting to a secret project my sister and i have been working on for the past year, maybe more.  

I've grown a lot during my time on DA and i've been through a lot as well  . There were times when photography was one of the only things that kept me going and i've been so blessed to have awesome watchers supporting and people thinking my work was worthy of a DD  

I really want to get back into the swing of things and i hope to be a bit more active in the future

Thank you to everyone for their support over the years and for just being there. We may not know one another outside DA, but knowing that i had a group of people who liked my work, sometimes that was the only thing i needed to get through the day
